Every product we consider needs a solid review base — a meaningful number of ratings and a rating average that holds up. A handful of five-star reviews on a brand-new listing isn't enough for us to feature it.
We read past the star rating
Star ratings only tell half the story. We go into the actual reviews looking for recurring complaints — sizing issues, material quality, durability — before anything makes it onto the site.
We check it still holds up
Prices change, listings get discontinued, quality can drift over time. We periodically review featured products to make sure what's on the page is still accurate and still worth recommending.
We stay independent
We earn a commission when you buy through our links, but that commission is the same regardless of which product you choose. No brand pays to be featured, and no listing gets special placement because of a bigger payout.
